Long DescriptionPhoto credit: 123rf.comThe event, hosted by Rice’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research and the Ken Kennedy Institute for Information Technology, will include keynote speakers Deborah Frincke, director of research for the National Security Agency and Simson Garfinkel, leading computer scientist on data privacy at the U.S. Census Bureau. They will discuss the current practices, challenges and research in data privacy and protection in a world where digital information impacts every aspect of our lives.Speakers include Marie Lynn Miranda, the Howard R.
